Dasa Bhukti Ramayana Parayanam: which book for your dasa?

Short answer: LIFCO publishes a separate book for each dasa. Each one gives the Ramayana sargas to read for that dasa and bhukti, with the method of parayanam, in simple Tamil. Pick the book named after the dasa you are running.

Where the method comes from

The books take their authority verses from the Uma Samhita, an upa-purana that follows the eighteen Puranas of Sri Vyasa. For each dasa and bhukti, they select the Ramayana sargas to read to ease the difficulties attributed to that planet.
